The Beach Wedding
We have some stunning coastlines and beautiful beaches here in the UK. From Wales to Scotland, from the South Coast to Bournemouth you cannot get a more light and airy wedding location than a getting married on the coast.
Take advantage of the dramatic beauty of your natural surroundings. Have your bridal portraits taken with the waves crashing in the distance and a stunning a sunset backdrop beside the water’s edge.
Beach weddings here in the UK are a firm favourite of ours.
The Farm Wedding
From fairy light-strewn beams to rolling countryside views, after shooting in so many venues we just love a barn wedding and a farm wedding.
A barn wedding offers an unforgettable rural charm. Very often we photograph a gorgeous mixture of old meets new as the barn buildings contrast beautifully with twinkling fairy lights creating a mesmerizing contemporary fine art wedding gallery.
The high beams and cascading light often are the perfect back drop for a light and airy wedding that is more rustic in vibe to a beach wedding. But if rustic is not your bag, with the right styling even the most rustic of barn can have a contemporary aesthetic.
The Asylum, London
The stunning, grade 2 listed building, located in Caroline Gardens, Peckham is one of our favourite London venues. It’s not light and airy in a traditional way but the dappled light flooding through the stained glass windows creates electric warmth that is truly stunning.
For a strikingly dramatic fine art inspired wedding this beautifully distressed venue would be perfect for a couple who want a more contemporary take on ‘light and airy’.
As photographers we tend to obsess over light. After all photography is ‘Photography is the art, application and practice of creating durable images by recording light ‘ according to Wikipedia! But we know that you have so many other details to consider in terms of planning and preparing for your celebrations. When you commission us for your wedding photography we’re available for unlimited consultation and planning right up to your big day (and after for the albums design and order fun)!
