…in our signature natural, light and contemporary wedding photography style.
When our stunning Bride, who also happens to be a childhood friend, said she was marrying her love in NYC nothing – nothing was going to stop us from being there. (Not even being 4 weeks post partum and travelling with two under two!)
It was a wedding full of joy and emotion (South London represented to the fullest!). A day and a night, infact a whole destination wedding that we truly never wanted to end….
We hope you enjoy these NYC wedding photographs as much as we enjoyed taking it.
With Love

Alicia’s dress was a wild card – a Hollywood belle style dress and the moment she put it on she felt ‘sassy, confident, sexy and beautiful.’ Alicia had never wanted a white or ivory dress and so the blush and Champagne tones were perfect.
The groom wore an Armani suit. We dubbed him ‘James Bond’.
As Jamin the groom was based in New York he done most of the running around and they also relied heavily on recommendations from friends who had had good experiences with suppliers. They decided on the DUMBO Loft, Booklyn NYC as wedding venue on the basis of some recommendations and were not disappointed. The main attraction for the DUMBO Loft, Brooklyn was the location. As they were having guests traveling from abroad they wanted a central, easy to find venue. DUMBO Loft was right by the Hudson Rover and Brooklyn Bridge so perfectly situated for international guests.
We caught up with Alicia a few weeks after the wedding and she said that the best part of the day was walking down the aisle with two of three most important men in her life – her incredible younger brother Chavis and her wonderful father – and then looking ahead and seeing her husband to be. I felt so choked that we were able to frame these moments for her. Alicia had initially said that she had so many wonderful women in her life that she felt she couldn’t choose and so had actually decided not to have bridesmaids. Jamin however had always planned to have groomsmen even before had had a bride to wed. After discussing things, Alicia decided to choose one of her 3 beautiful sisters, a cousin and three of just a few of her special friends to accompany her down “If you knew than what you know now what would you do differently?’ was one of the questions I asked and after the wedding. ‘Don’t stress. Have a spreadsheet. Laugh lots. Don’t feel obligated to invite people and really think about who you want to be there. Choose people who will add to the joy of the day and that will shine through.’ And with those wise words we are over an out….
