London Portrait Session? Yes Please!

Although we love wedding photography, (which is a good thing as we are London wedding photographers!) weddings are just the start aren’t they? The very beginning of the happily ever after. The first chapter. What happens next? Well five years down the wedded line we were delighted to meet up with a couple as they celebrated half a decade of marriage.

It was hazy day, not yet summer and not quite autumn. Holland Park, London – the location of choice was alive with families, tourists and beautiful peacocks of course. Completely intentionally, it was also the very place that our couple had posed for their wedding photographs 5 years earlier. The portrait session was scheduled for late afternoon, which is one of our favourite times of the day to shoot.

As contemporary, fine art photographers the natural choice is for us to photograph outside – always.  We love drenching our clients in that soft, romantic natural light that can never be replicated in a studio. On this beautiful afternoon fuzzy clouds danced across the orangey, pink sky. What a wonderful way to say Happy Anniversary. Wouldn’t you agree?
